WFFC expanded into Alberta,
Canada, in 2008. Consisting of a group of volunteers, the Alberta Chapter
advocates and organizes fundraising events for projects that take place
in the developing world.
As an extension of the Toronto based organization, the Alberta Chapter and
WFFC share the same vision and philosophy. For more information on events
and chapter meetings, click here.

WFFC has a mandate to pursue projects that directly impact the lives of children within three principal focus areas:
1. International Development
3. Campaigns
WFFC hopes to grow into a global organisation with an ability to lend support to all the funding requests WFFC receives. In order to accomplish this, WFFC needs to continue to build on its support base, both in terms of increasing the capacity of WFFC volunteers, and in terms of increasing the donor base.

Giving children the essential building blocks of life, thereby empowering the to recreate their world.

The WFFC philosophy sets them apart from other organizations. WFFC believes strongly that as a children’s organization, the only way to help children is to ask them directly, as it is the children themselves who can best tell us what they need.

About Alex – The Founder In July 2003, while still a university student, Alex founded World Fit For Children at the age of 22. He holds degrees in Space Physics, Child Psychology, and International Relations. He was deeply inspired by the children he has met and disappointed in the fact that most organizations and people did not truly listen to children’s views, concerns, and opinions. As a result, Alex founded World Fit For Children.

World Fit For Children depends entirely on donations and contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
